ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Innovative start-up of coastal biomonitoring, ideal for those who want to learn knowledge about sighting in the sea and the species found along the coast, experiencing an engaging experience in kayaks accompanied only by the natural sound of water and in contact with the sea.
Each guest will be able to actively participate in the sighting and data collection thanks to the tools we will provide during the initial briefing (binoculars and illustrative cards).
The activity, developed and conducted by a Marine Biologist expert in Cetacean sighting, is suitable for everyone, beginners and experts, and has been developed to involve and thrill even those who are in their first experience in sea kayaking.
Weather conditions permitting, during the itinerary, a moment will be cut out where you can take a bath and observe our crystalline seabed with a mask, where the use of your own mask, tube and rock shoes will be mandatory).

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
-It is not necessary to have already had experience as our two-seater sit on top boats are very stable, large and safe;
-Canoeing in a canoe or kayak does not present any technical difficulties, it is important to know that paddling is a much less tiring exercise than walking;
– Depending on the participants, it may be requested to combine participants with better physical shape with those more tired or less trained in order to better balance the group;
-Our canoes can support people with a maximum weight of 100 kg (for a total of 200 kg);
– Navigation is subject to weather and sea conditions and can be canceled, modified or suspended in the event of adverse conditions.
-Nevertheless, during the activity we will wear buoyancy aid jackets,
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM
WHAT TO BRING
-Sportswear, long-sleeved technical shirts with waterproof swimsuit or shorts (technical fabrics or similar);
– Dry spare clothes;
– Waterproof bag / bag (max 4 liters);
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO BRING BACKPACKS TO THE BOARDING POINT;
– Documents, keys and mobile phones must be placed in a watertight compartment (locker) accessible at any time and located between the legs of each participant;
– Rock shoes / canvas shoes (mandatory for a possible refreshing bath);
-Hat and sunglasses;
– Water (1.5 liters max) for the necessary needs;
-Food (eg energy bars, crackers, dried fruit) for refreshment during the scheduled breaks;
-Sunscreen;
-Pen;
– Mask and tube (snorkel);
ADVICE FOR FAST BOARDING TIMES
– It is highly recommended to arrive at least 10 minutes before the meeting time and park outside the Brindisi Marina, proceeding on foot towards the main entrance and turning right until you reach the last pier where the PARENT COMPANY will be waiting for you;
– Make a stop at the toilet, always located on the right along the route;
– Pre-compact the dry change in the waterproof bag / bag or leave it in the car;
– it is highly recommended to use sunscreen before arriving at the boarding point;
